I know I haven't written much recently, but I am alive and such, just very busy and tired so not been really been inspired to write.
I suppose I really should be with the silly politics happening in this country at the moment, but largely I am just feeling despair. People think that rich people who support other rich people know how to run the economy. NO! Rich people who help other rich people know how to screw over poor people to make money for themselves, they certainly aren't going to help you unless you are BFFs. When times are bad economically people vote Tory and the first thing they do is raise unemployment which means fewer people are spending which HURTS the economy. All the Tories understand is privilege and greed.
Sorry for the rant... guess I did need to get that out, don't have time to say more or I could go on for ages.... Oh well Happy all those holidays.

Bill Nighy playing a banker in an ad supporting the concept of a Robin Hood tax on banks…. take a look it’s quite well done… and Bill Nighy is just a pleasure to watch.

Just a quick note to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas and all the best in the New Year.
I know for many people this time of year can be quite depressing, and the current financial situation does not help with that, nor does the cold and snow and ice that we have been experiencing here (for those of you in England who aren’t used to it), despite that it is the season to spend time with friends and family and enjoy each others company.
In that spirit I hope you do have a wonderful time, and also in that spirit I will not spew any specific political rhetoric today.

Why are the public paying the price for greedy bankers and lack of political oversight? When the economy is rocky the worst thing to do is shrink the economy by cutting the workforce. The ConDem’d Government has a choice, tell them to make a different one!Visit: http://falseeconomy.org.uk/

The ConDem’s cuts will have huge nock on effect. People think public sector workers are highly paid with huge pension packages. Although this may be true for senior management, this is not true for the majority.
The pension for an average Local Government employee is £4000/year and less £2600 for the average female employee.
